Our minds can play tricks on us. This is especially true when it comes to endurance activities when we get into our head and doubt monsters creep in and question if we’ve put the work into making this moment happen. During those times we need to trust ourselves and listen to our supporters and know we can do it. I’ve seen this many times at endurance events such as Ironman and felt it first hand. My husband showed me again this weekend that we can push past what we think our limits are and achieve the goals we set out to accomplish. The willpower well needed to be tapped a time or two to get to that final summit but summit he did and has an Everest Challenge medal to prove it!
