I know several people that do manual labor during the week for their jobs and then go and kick butt on the bike on the weekend. I’ve always wondered how they do it as I like to play hard on the weekend but sit at a desk during the week. Kudos to those that are able to push their bodies to the limit work wise and play wise!
Here’s how we spent the long Labor Day weekend leading up to three weeks before Tahoe Ironman!
Saturday, 8/31: 90 mile bike, 8,200 ft of elevation gain; 8 mile trail run at 6,000 feet
Sunday: 9/1: 45 mile bike, 4,100 ft of elevation gain
Monday: 9/2: 18 mile run
